Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
To comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Lee College provides an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR). In addition, the Clery Act requires higher education institutions to provide timely warnings of crimes that represent a threat to the safety of students or employees and to make public their campus security policies. The Clery Act also requires that crime data is collected, reported, and disseminated to the campus community as well as submitted to the U.S. Department of Education. The law is intended to provide students and their families, as higher education consumers, with accurate, complete, and timely information about safety on campus so that they can make informed decisions.
Each year, an email notification is made to all enrolled students, staff, and faculty that provides the website to access this report. Printed copies of the report may also be obtained from the Lee College Security Office located in the Security Services Facility at the corner of S. Whiting and W. Republic streets (campus map).
