At a special called meeting of the Lee College District Board of Regents held on Feb. 26, 2026, the board accepted the resignation of Dr. Lynda Villanueva effective Feb. 28, 2026. The Regents are grateful for Dr. Villanueva's service and advancements made under her leadership. Additional action taken was the appointment of Jacob Atkin as interim president.
